Adaobi Okonkwo
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Adaobi Okonkwo is a seasoned financial services professional with over 20 years of experience in banking, trade finance, and SME lending. Before founding Mos Rola Enterprise, she held senior leadership roles at leading financial institutions where she oversaw multi-billion-naira portfolios and designed innovative lending products for underserved markets.
Adaobi's career began at First Bank of Nigeria, where she quickly rose through the ranks to become a Senior Relationship Manager. She later joined Access Bank as Head of SME Banking, where she pioneered several initiatives that expanded access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises across Nigeria.
Her vision for Mos Rola was born from a simple observation: Nigerian businesses need capital that works with them — not against them. She saw that traditional financial institutions were often too rigid, too slow, and too disconnected from the realities of how businesses actually operate.
Under her leadership, Mos Rola has grown from a small startup to a trusted partner for thousands of SMEs across Nigeria. Adaobi holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Lagos and an MBA from Lagos Business School. She is also a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
